FAQ
Just wondering what the consensus is on these Brick Testament links. I can throw the images in just fine (as I’ve started doing with 1 Kings, but before I slam away on them I’d like to figure out whether we think it’s truly worthwile. They don’t seem to provide much incremental commentary benefit (IMO after looking at a few), and may comicalize the point into triviality. -Rob.
- I noticed that most (all?) of the italics were stripped out when converting. Should we leave them out? - Dave L
Is there anyway to change the title of a page but keep the URL the same? My problem is grammatical. Right now I can only use “How many were in Jacobs family when they came into Egypt” as the page title, even though it lacks possession and a question mark. I’ve tried to rename, but that doesn’t work. Thanks. -PG
Hi PG, I think we addressed this question in the FAQ, you can create display text for a link by using this code:
[[How many were in Jacobs family when they came into Egypt|How many were in Jacob's family when they came into Egypt?]]
– The Web Team
-- I’m not sure this answers the question. PG is not asking about the link, but the page title as it appears at the top of the page the link points to. Haven’t you noticed that the annotation pages all have ungrammatical titles, such as Who was Moses father-in-law or Who was the greatest: Jesus Solomon or John the Baptist...?
Unfortunetly the titling system cannot use some special characters, We may look into upgrading this in the future, but for now there is no way to make the titles perfectly grammatical – The Web Team

Should we add annotation categories to the main (Bible) pages, as they currently are added to the annotation pages? I think only David F. does this now. —Dave L.
No, don’t do that. – The Web Team

I created a bibliography page for the BOM. There are a lot of citations, and this seems a cleaner way of handling them than spelling them out as full citations in the main pages. —Dave L.
Good work Dave, you may want to make a note of that on the BOM Index page – the web team
-- Thanks. Is that where the note should go? Currently, the index pages only list actual chapters, not annotations, notes, links, etc. Maybe we need a section for each index page covering “top level” annotations, such as links to the major anti-SAB sites, Wikipedia, DIU, etc., as well as the bibliographies and maybe the “what the Bible says about ...” pages.
You can add content To the index pages and it will appear above the Page links. There are index pages on the SAB, actually. i only know of one that has been converted, in genesis. Instead of the system index pages, perhaps we should create our own index pages, then we can do more with the layout, and make sure the chapters are in the correct order. We’ll look into it and let you know. – the web team.
Okay, added, as well as to the OT, NT and Quran index pages.
I’ve actually been pretty good about updating the chapter index pages, such as Hebrews. This would be a good place to cross-reference annotations, too, as the SAB does (e.g., absurdities in Genesis).—Dave L.

How do we handle external urls containing characters PMCode doesn’t like, such as spaces, as in http://www.inthenameofallah.org/quran chapter 1.html—Dave L.
Using spaces in a URL breaks the law of the internet, so this not really a problem with PMCode, just bad web design. You can have people copy and paste it to visit the URL. The problem is that EE is converting the “% 20” code into a space at the database level, not as a display. So you can’t even display that link using the “code” tag. I would consider this a broken link for all intensive purposes. – The Web Team

I just discovered something interesting: PMCode defines H2, H3, H4, ... (but not H1, oddly).
section
subsection
subsubsection
sub...section
etc.
I suggest using
h3
instead of
size=4 bold
for things like choices in contradiction pages. I converted Are Old Testament laws still binding as an example—Dave L
